Representative has confirmed that the 'True Blood' actor and his girlfriend of eight years, Missy Yager, are expecting their first children together.

"True Blood" hunk Sam Trammell has some baby news to deliver. The actor playing Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO series has through his representative announced that he is going to be a father for the first time as his longtime actress girlfriend, Missy Yager, is pregnant with twins.
Upon confirming the happy news, representative for the "Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem" actor simply told People magazine, "The couple is thrilled and excited." Aside from the fact that the 40-year-old and his girlfriend are expecting twins, no other details including when the babies are due has been shared.
Sam and Missy reportedly met for the first time in New York while performing in theaters, and have been together for eight years. Sam will reprise his shape shifter character on "True Blood" when season 4 premieres this summer. Meanwhile, Missy has appeared on such TV series as "Mad Men" and "Boston Public".
