The 'Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps' actor reveals he has already begun preparing for the film, which is going to be directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Having completed his cancer treatment, Michael Douglas is going to be back acting in front of camera soon. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 66-year-old actor says he has started preparing for his role in "Liberace", which will mark his first movie post his battle with throat cancer.
"I've got a bunch of tapes of performances," Douglas, who will portray famously flamboyant performer Liberace in the Steven Soderbergh-directed movie, says on his role. "I'm thinking; I'm a blank slate. Everything shows me he was a lovely man; I just want to reconfirm that."
Beside undertaking musical training, the "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" star will also wear special prosthetic works to play the title role. The drama movie is said to start shooting in May or June 2011.
"Liberace" that will be a biopic about pianist Liberace has a script written by Richard LaGravanese. Matt Damon is additionally attached to star in the film.
