Gabriella Cilmi has made her "Defender" music video for public viewing pleasure. The Aussie singer who once supported Leona Lewis in her U.K. tour is seen walking through a long passage while taking off her girly outfit and finally trading it with more masculine ensemble.

The music video was filmed in Chelmsford's water factory. "There was lime scale falling from the walls (eww) and it was quite cold and lonely looking, but it had just the right character for the video," Cilmi explained about the filming location.

The concept is to follow a girl leaving behind one world, stripping back everything that hides who she truly is and then going into battle to protect someone or something she believes in.

"Defender" is taken from Gabriella Cilmi's second studio album "Ten" which has been in stores Down Under since March this year.
