The first look at the major cast in "Sucker Punch" has been obtained from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. In the scanned image, Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone and Jamie Chung are seen posing alongside actor Scott Glenn.
The chicks are seen sporting black leather ensemble and Gothic make up, making them look sexy yet tough. The only male star featured in the photo, meanwhile, dons an army uniform while holding a gun.
Directed and written by Zack Snyder, "Sucker Punch" centers on a young girl who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather. Stuck in the place, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain. In her imagination, she plans her escape, needing to steal five objects to help her get out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
This action fantasy movie will fill Warner Bros.' panel at San Diego Comic Con 2010 on the Third Day, Saturday, July 24. Meanwhile, moviegoers can watch the film in U.S. theaters starting March 25, 2011.
