"Men in Black 3" is yet to enter the production process, but a teaser clip for the film has come out. In the video shown at Sony's 3D TV launch on Friday, June 11, Will Smith is featured saying that he has one purpose with the upcoming project, which is "to make 3-D look good".

Smith has signed to reprise his role as alien-chasing government operative Agent Jay in this follow-up to "Men in Black II". His co-star Tommy Lee Jones is likely to return as Agent Kay since he was latest reported negotiating his contract with Columbia Pictures. Moreover, the film could have Josh Brolin starring as a younger version of Agent K, and Jemaine Clement taking the role of a villainous character.

Barry Sonnenfeld who served behind the lens for two "Men in Black" flicks is on board to direct the third installment. Etan Cohen and David Koepp are tapped to provide the script which will feature a time travel element that moves the action from contemporary back to 1969. Set to arrive in 3-D, the action sci-fi secures May 25, 2012 slot for U.S. release schedule.
