Tiger Woods is wasting no time to address the speculations about the single car accident he experienced in front of his Florida home on Friday, November 27. In a post on his official website, he opens up about his latest condition while at the same time asks for privacy.

"As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore," read the post dated Sunday, November 29. "This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again."

The professional golfer's statement continued, "This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible."

Woods, furthermore, stated, "The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false."

He then concluded his post, writing "This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be."

Woods, however, didn't address mounting reports of him cheating on wife Elin with Rachel Uchitel, who is well known as a New York City party girl with a reputation of bedding married celebs.

Tiger Woods has been married to Elin Nordegren, who is a former model, since October 2004. They have two children together; 2-year-old daughter Sam Alexis Woods and 9-month-old son Charlie Axel Woods.
