AceShowbiz - Dodging repeated question if she has got engaged to actor boyfriend Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz is reported to have been planning to get married "very soon." In Touch Weekly breaks the marriage speculation, citing a friend of the movie beauty as stating, the celebrity pair may walk down the aisle "over the holidays."
"Penelope's parents are conservative Catholics and are really pushing for her to get married. Javier would like to take things slowly, but Penelope wants to make her parents happy," so says the source. Adding fuel to the wedding talk, an insider claims Penelope has been quietly meeting with her favorite fashion designers to work on her upcoming wedding dress.
"Since she and Javier are from Spain, she'd love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown," the insider raves, adding that Penelope has set her eyes on House of Balenciaga, whose founder was from Spain. And though the fashion house doesn't have a bridal line, they reportedly are willing to make one-of-a-kind gowns for special VIPs and celebrities. "I'm sure they would be more than thrilled to create a gown for Penelope," says the insider.
Besides, the line is a highly recommended one taking into account that Penelope's BFF Salma Hayek wore one of its creations when marrying billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in Paris on Valentine's Day this year. Penelope knows her wedding gown "will be the most important dress of her life," adds the insider.
As of the press time, there has been no detail shared with the press on when and where the reported wedding will possibly take place. Comment is yet to be made by both Penelope and Javier regarding the report.
