The British actor says he doesn't know why people are attracted to him while he tends to consider himself as "self-obsessed and kind of only about negative stuff".

Included in People magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive of 2009, Robert Pattinson admits he doesn't understand why people consider him sexy or attractive. "Favorite feature? I'm, like, 'Weird,' 'cause I'm kind of self-obsessed and kind of only about negative stuff," he told MTV at the London junket for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". He then added, "... In saying something positive, I'll hate myself even more."
Contrary to the way he looks at himself, Robert has a positive attitude toward his relationship with on-screen rival in "Twilight Saga", Taylor Lautner. "It's funny, 'cause we're quite opposite people in a lot of ways, but I get on with him really well," he revealed. "It's really funny how this rivalry thing happened. ... For one thing, I can't fight it out with Taylor. In the movie, yeah ,[I have abs]. That was awhile back."
He, moreover, gushes about how Taylor has encouraged him to gain more muscles. "He made me go to the gym for pretty much the first time in my life. And more consistently than I've ever done. But I think I went a little too late," said the British actor.
Robert Pattinson is currently on duty for the promotional tour of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon," which will be released in U.S. theaters Friday, November 20. He is joined by co-stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart.
