Celebrity

"I thought I was going to miss it a lot more than I do, but I haven't even really looked at other people's, which is really weird," so she says.

It's been nearly two weeks that Miley Cyrus has exited Twitter and she herself is surprised by the fact that she doesn't miss the social networking site at all. "I really haven't missed it," the singer said on 104.7 FM's Johnjay and Rich Show in Arizona on Tuesday, October 20.

"I thought I was going to miss it a lot more than I do, but I haven't even really looked at other people's, which is really weird," the 16-year-old Disney star continued. "I don't really miss it. It's kind of odd."

Miley, on the other hand, is glad that she is so over Twitter as tweeting used to cost her sleep. "It was 3:30 or 4 in the morning. I couldn't sleep. [I thought], 'Maybe I could sleep if I wasn't so friggin' busy Twittering about not being able to sleep'," explained the actress-singer.

Miley Cyrus was one of the popular people on Twitter and had more than 2 million followers by the time she abruptly deleted her account on October 7. She repeatedly cited the need of privacy for her withdrawal from the micro-blogging site.

And despite rumors that she deleted her Twitter at behest of rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who will star with her in upcoming film "The Last Song", Miley has repeatedly insisted the Aussie actor has nothing to do with her Twitter exit.
