Musician/actor Ben Lee took it to his official blog on Saturday, September 26 to make public the first picture of his newborn baby. In the shot, the infant is seen being wrapped with what looks like a blanket.
In a companion post Ben wrote, "Welcome to the world Goldie Priya Lee." His post, furthermore, revealed that Goldie was born at 8 A.M. on Thursday, September 24. No further detail has been provided by Ben about the infant, who is his first child with wife Ione Skye.
Ben Lee, who tasted success with his album "Breathing Tornados" in 1999, married Ione Skye, who is an actress, in a traditional Hindu ceremony outside of the town of Chennai in India on December 29 last year. Their wedding was officiated by their guru, Sakthi Narayani Amma.
The nuptials is the first one for Ben and the second for Ione. She was previously married to Beastie Boys' Adam Horovitz.
