Still adjusting to his newfound fame, the 17-year-old actor says he won't let the spotlight affects him in bad ways.

AceShowbiz - Having a legion of die-hard fans around the world since landing the role of Jacob Black in 2008 film "Twilight", Taylor Lautner says he is still adjusting to his newfound fame and all the cameras that follow him almost all the time. "There are 12 cars that camp outside my house," he tells Teen Vogue's October issue. "You can't ever really get used to it, because it's not normal to have people snapping pictures of everything you do. You just have to try not to let it affect you."

And despite all the attention that he receives, Taylor has managed to remain humble about his high-rocketing acting career. He says, "I think the fans would love anybody who played Jacob ... I'm just lucky to be the one who got the chance."

When asked to comment on the romance rumors hitting his co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Taylor remains mum. Refusing to confirm or deny if the on-screen lovers embark on a real-life romance, the 17-year-old actor simply comments, "It's crazy, but the fans help. They're a big part of the motivation." And when it comes to his own love life, Taylor also won't comment much on rumors of him dating Disney actress-singer Selena Gomez. The only comment he has is, "she's a great girl."

The October 2009 issue of Teen Vogue, in which Taylor Lautner's interview is featured, will be published next Tuesday, September 8. The particular edition will, moreover, see the movie hunk serving as its cover model in addition to posing for some pics inside.

Taylor will be reprising his role as Jacob Black in the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", which will be released in the U.S. theaters on November 20 later this year.
