A funeral suit is being designed by Los Angeles-based costume designers, Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush, for the late Michael Jackson. Access Hollywood is the first to run the story, yet the site gives no further details of the reported costume. It is only revealed that both designers have worked with Michael in the last 20 years and had been designing costumes for his planned "This Is It" concert series in London.
The news comes in the wake of confirmation made by Michael's family that memorial service will be held to remember his career and life. The service will be staged inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 7.
Organizers of the memorial have confirmed a total of 17,500 free tickets will be handed to public for them to be able to attend the event. 11,000 entrants will have the chance to go inside the building, while the remaining 6,500 will be ushered to watch from across the street at the Nokia Center, which will be filled with huge-screen TVs streaming the live affair.
At the time of writing, there has been no further detail shared with the press regarding the service. Funeral plans also haven't been made public by the Jacksons.
