The second season of "The Cleaner" is coming around the corner and we've got a hold of its first ten minutes. The A&E series starring Benjamin Bratt will go on air again on Tuesday, June 23 with the episode "Hello America".
William faces his old sponsor (guest star Whoopi Goldberg) when an old friend and fellow program member (guest star Jayne Brook) seeks William's help to get her husband (guest star Gary Cole) a high-profile national news anchor, clean.
But there are a couple of twists to the case. The news anchor is a national spokesperson for recovery, so William has to be especially discrete in his methods. And the news anchor's wife has an illness that forces William to confront his own personal problems.
"The Cleaner" is a series based on a true story about an "extreme interventionist" who, after hitting rock-bottom from his own addictions, strikes a tentative deal with God. Along with his unconventional team, he helps people get away from their addictions by any means necessary.
