The first promo trailer for Lee Sngmoo's "The Warrior's Way" has been making its way out for viewing pleasure. Unlike any other trailers, this video which was first found by 24FPS lasts for nearly four minutes. It gives out first glimpses into what this fantasy action film has to offer as well as shares a little bit of Yang's background story.
Opened with a narration about Yang training to be world's greatest swordsman, the trailer displays how good he was before he ran away to a faraway land and put his past behind. There, in a forgotten American west town, he meets a circus knife thrower Lynne who has powerful secrets. When Lynne gets into trouble, Yang is forced to make use of his sword skills to save her.
Directed and written by Lee Sngmoo, "The Warrior's Way" is produced by "Lord of the Rings" producer Barrie Osborne. Formerly titled "The Laundry Warrior", it stars Jang Dong Gun as Yang and Kate Bosworth as Lynne. Geoffrey Rush, Danny Huston and Tony Cox are also among the cast ensemble. This action fantasy is expected to hit U.S. theaters sometime in August, though official date is yet to be set.
