Kanye West has been tapped to produce Jay-Z's new album, and during a recent visit to MTV to promote his book titled "Thank You and You're Welcome", he revealed that Jay-Z will not follow today's trend of Auto-Tune. "We actually removed all the songs with Auto-Tune off of his album," so he said. "To make the point that this is an anti-Auto-Tune album."

Responding to Jay-Z's request about not using Auto-Tune, Kanye who heavily put the Auto-Tune in his latest record "808's & Heartbreak" answered, "It doesn't matter to me." He elaborated his statement, "It's music; it's just sonics. I like Auto-Tune so I do it, but you want the other thing - like you'll wear a suit to a wedding and gym shoes to a basketball game. I think it's a perfect moment for Jay to provide some gym shoes to a basketball game right now."

The third installment of Blueprint album series, Jay-Z's new effort is titled "Blueprint III". It is aimed to follow up its predecessors "The Blueprint" (2001) and "The Blueprint²: The Gift & the Curse" (2002).
