The first three official images from 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' have arrived, revealing a near-kiss capture between Robert Pattinson's Edward and Kristen Stewart's Bella among others.

AceShowbiz - Entertainment Weekly (EW) has got its hands on three exclusive photos from "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". These pictures, which take the focus on Kristen Stewart's Bella, are the first official images coming out of this "Twilight" sequel following the unveiling of the wolf pack and the movie's official poster.

Two of the photos are captures from some of the film's scenes. One displays Bella and her vampire lover, Edward played by Robert Pattinson, in a near-kiss scene, while the other shows the mortal beauty and mysterious vampire Laurent. Of the latter scene, Laurent's depicter Edi Gathegi said, "I'm telling Bella not to be fearful of death. It's inevitable and painless. He was bad in Twilight, but still had some compassion. Let's just say he's not conflicted anymore."

The last photo is a set photo wherein Stewart is shooting the Bella's 18th birthday party scene. In the picture, Bella has been thrown against a rose-covered table by Edward to protect her from Jasper. "The whole cast is reading the book and wanting to get it right," director Chris Weitz explained about the particular scene, as quoted by EW. "They want to deliver on the promise these books make to the readers."

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" follows Bella Swan as she is left devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire lover Edward. But, her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.

This "Twilight" sequel has officially begun its production in Vancouver in mid-April. An adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's second novel in her "Twilight" series, it is penned by "Twilight" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and directed by "The Golden Compass" helmer Chris Weitz. The vampire drama movie is targeting a U.S. release on November 20.
