Robert Pattinson's New Movie to Be Presented at Cannes

'Remember Me', a modern love story starring Robert Pattinson will be shown to a number of buyers at this year's Cannes Festival.

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson continues his partnership with Summit Entertainment with a new film which will be produced by the studio. Over the weekend, it was reported that the Edward in "Twilight" series, will be starring in a new pic called "Remember Me".

Little are shared of the movie but Screen Daily pointed that the movie will be given a shout out at this year's Cannes Festival which will be kicked off on May 13 and wrapped on May 24. The film will be presented to a number of buyers present at the festival, along with three other titles.

"Hollywoodland" director Allen Coulter will helm the project and a female lead is reportedly being cast. Summit co-chairman and CEO Patrick Wachsberger said that the film is about "this generation's love story". Jenny Lumet who penned "Rachel Getting Married" will provide the script which reportedly is in its latest draft.

Shooting will begin this summer in New York. Pattinson will take a break from the shooting of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" and "Eclipse" in order to shoot this film. "New Moon" wraps the shooting in May while "Eclipse" begins in August.
