A bunch of celebrities will challenge their physical fitness with the assistance of professional athletes. A new series coming to ABC, "The Superstars" will pair up the stars with the sportsmen and have them going through a series of sports branch challenges such as swimming, biking, kayaking and running.
In the list of celebrities are David Charvet, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Dan Cortese, Paige Hemmis, Julio Iglesias, Jr., Joanna Krupa, Ali Landry and Estella Warren. Meanwhile, the athletes are Jennifer Capriati, Brandi Chastain, Robert Horry, Jeff Kent, Kristi Leskinen, Lisa Leslie, Bode Miller and Terrell Owens.
The pairing is arranged as: Terrell Owens & Joanna Krupa; Jeff Kent & Ali Landry; Robert Horry & Estella Warren: Bode Miller & Paige Hemmis; Kristi Leskinen & Maksim Chmerkovskiy; Lisa Leslie & Dan Cortese; Jennifer Capriati & David Charvet; and Brandi Chastain & Julio Iglesias, Jr.
The show which is in the manner of "Wide World of Sport" will premiere on June 23 at 8/7c and one team will be eliminated each week.
