Professional golfer Tiger Woods is a father for one more time as he has confirmed the birth of his second child, a baby boy. In a post on his official site on Monday, February 9, he wrote, the newborn baby, named Charlie Axel Woods, was born on Sunday, February 8, adding that he and wife Elin Nordegren "are thrilled" with the new addition to their clan.
Woods and Nordegren have been married since October 2004 and they have another child, a daughter named Sam Alexis Woods. The girl was born in June 2007. "Sam is very excited to be a big sister and we feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family," Woods gushed.
Confirming further that "both Charlie and Elin are doing great," Woods said he and Nordegren thanked everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts." They, additionally, also thanked doctors, nurses, and the hospital staff for "their personal and professional care." At the end of his post, Woods wrote, "we look forward to introducing Charlie to you at the appropriate time."
