'Mad Men' takes double nominations in the drama category of DGA Awards while '30 Rock' takes the same amount on the comedy series.

AceShowbiz - After announcing their contenders for motion pictures, Directors Guild of America reveal those in the TV world. Taking double dose at the nominations list are "Mad Men" and "30 Rock" among others.

In the drama series category, "Mad Men" earns two through Alan Taylor for episode "The Mountain King" and Matthew Wiener for episode "Mediations in an Emergency." Others ready to compete for the title are Jack Bender for "Lost" episode "The Constant", Paris Barclay for "In Treatment" episode "Alex- Week Eight" and Dan Attias for "The Wire" episode "Transisitons".

Taking over the comedy series genre are Paris Barclay again for "Weeds" episode "The Three Coolers" , Julian Farino for "Entourage" episode "Tree Trippers", Paul Feig for "The Office" episode "Dinner Party", Beth McCarthy-Miller for "30 Rock" episode "The Reunion Episode #304" and Don Scardino for "30 Rock" episode "Do Over".

Wrapped under TV movie or miniseries category are Kenny Leon for "A Raisin in the Sun", Jay Roach for "Recount", Tom Hooper for "John Adams", Bob Balaban for "Bernard and Doris" as well as Mikael Salomon for "The Andromeda Strain".

Ballots will be distributed over 14,000 members and the winners will be announced in a ceremony held at the Century Plaza Hotel on January 31.
