"The Ugly Truth", a new romantic comedy movie from Robert Luketic, the director of "21" and "Legally Blonde", has just got its first trailer out. Focusing on the opposite attracts idea, the trailer highlights on introducing the two main characters, Abby Richter played by Katherine Heigl and Mike Chadway portrayed by Gerard Butler.
Abby Richter is a successful morning show producer, but her search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. One day, Mike Chadway comes along and this hardcore TV personality, who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick, puts her in a series of outrageous tests to prove his theories on relationships and allow her to find love. But, both of them are up for a big surprise.
Scripted by Nicole Eastman, Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith for Columbia Pictures, "The Ugly Truth" features also the likes of Cheryl Hines, Eric Winter and many others. It is set to hit the U.S. theaters on April 3, 2009.
