Through her representative, Rihanna confirmed that she is "perfectly healthy" after almost collapsing during her on-stage performance in Sydney, Australia. "It was very hot at the venue, so after Rihanna's set was over, she went offstage and needed to sit down, catch her breath and have some water," the publicist told MTV. "She is perfectly healthy and will be at her show tomorrow."
On a video posted below, while performing her hit single "Umbrella" with Chris Brown in Acer Arena on November 7, Rihanna was seen holding her stomach for several times, seemingly to be in a physical pain, before walking out of the stage. When she was gone, the music still continued with Brown singing the rest of the verses.
Rihanna's spokesperson continued saying that the 20-year-old singer is expected to resume her tour with Brown on Saturday night, November 8 in Sydney. They have been touring in Australia and New Zealand since late last month and scheduled to wrap up the gig on November 11 in Perth.
