"People have come to me with other ideas, but lingerie is a passion for me, and just like music and acting, I can't do it unless I put 100% into it," so Janet said on starting her own line of lingerie. Naming the line after her 1987 hit, "Pleasure Principle", Janet creates it with the help of Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi, who helps designing "Dr. 90210" doc Robert Rey's line, called Dr. Rey's Shapewear.

Pleasure Principle lingerie line reportedly consists of a variety of bra styles and sizes ranging from 32A to 44G. The collection is available in a number of color combinations and sold at under $40 each. It will be made available in the U.S. first this fall before then being launched in Australia, Japan and Europe.

Boasting about her Pleasure Principle lingerie line, Janet claimed the collection "makes you feel incredible and offers variety as diverse as the women who will wear it." Ensuring comfort for women, she furthermore said, "There's something for every woman, and that's very important to us. I've always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key."
