After finishing his recent movies project, rapper Ludacris is eager to get back into the music scene as soon as possible. Before preparing to drop his new album, "Theater of the Mind", the rapper will give his fans special treat with the release of his first ever mixtape "Gangsta Grillz: The Preview" collaborating with DJ Drama.

Confirming his return to the music world, Ludacris tells MTV, "I been gone, opening up a restaurant, doing a couple of movies here and there, just a little bit of everything. It's time to get back in the music game. It's been a long time, but we back on that ass." He then revealed about the new mixtape, saying, "Album number six is on the way. So with that said, we got the mixtape, 'The Preview' - the preview to the damn movie."

Moreover, the rapper also stated that on the new tape his fans will be treated with lots of special stuffs including snippets of his upcoming album's new songs. "You gonna get a mixture of freestyles, new songs, snippets from Theater of the Mind, [past] songs where samples couldn't clear and make the album, but they still crazy-ass records," he said.

Beside talking about his upcoming mixtape, which hasn't had a release date yet, on the interview with the music channel Ludacris also explained about his new album and claimed that it will be just like a movie. "Just as the name implies, the album is theatrical. Conceptual-wise, every song you hear plays out like a scene from the movie. Whether it's storytelling, me giving you the real of what's going on in the world, you gotta look at it as your imagination is gonna run wild every song you hear," the rapper said.
