A unique and new method will be done by The Cure regarding the release of their new untitled 13th album. Before the upcoming album is released in September, they plan to drop a new single each month starting from May 13.

Moreover, the unique thing is not only that they will they release a new single each month until the album hit the stores but they also have set 13 as the release date of each and every song. Beside the official tracks they will also add a B-side to be released along with their new singles.

Until now, there are two tracks that have been confirmed, they are "The Only One" which is set as the first single and will be released on May 13. The second single to be dropped on June 13 will be "Freakshow". Meanwhile, the two exclusive b-side tracks to follow those two singles are "NY Trip", which will be the b-side for "The Only One" and "All Kinds Of Stuff" that is set to accompany "Freakshow". Unfortunately, both B-sides are only being made as exclusive parts for the new singles and will not be included on their upcoming new album.

As for the next singles scheduled to be released on July and August 13 no details have been confirmed yet. In related news, beside preparing their singles release the band will also hold a tour in U.S. starting on May 9 to support their upcoming new album.
