Another YouTube success story, Marie Digby is set to release her debut album called "Unfold" via Hollywood Records on Tuesday, April 8. The singer who is half Japanese and half Irish-American will also include in the set, her acoustic cover of Rihanna's "Umbrella" that got her into popularity at the first place.

"Marie is such a gifted singer and songwriter and we couldn't be more exciting about her upcoming album," said Bob Cavallo, CEO Hollywood Records. "She connects with her songs and her audience on such a deeply personal level and this album reflects it."

The album boasts productions by Tom Rothrock who worked with James Blunt and Mike Daly who helmed Whiskeytown's project. Except for "Umbrella", all the thirteen tracks in the album were self-written by Digby. Two songs "Stupid for You" and "Say It Again" have been utilized in MTV show "The Hills" while another original score "Spell" was used in "Smallville".

Digby rose to fame after she uploaded her home-video singing a version of "Umbrella" last year that has gained more than 5 million views. Consequently, her YouTube channel claimed the 7th spot of the most subscribed musicians of all time on the file-sharing website.
