'The Breakfast Club' to Be Modernized Into 'Bumped'
Movie

John Hughes' 1985 film 'The Breakfast Club' is reported to be made into a modern version in the feature film project entitled 'Bumped'.

AceShowbiz - A new movie inspired by John Hughes' 1985 film "The Breakfast Club" is going to be developed. According to Variety, "Bumped" has been set to be a modern-day version of the '80s film.

The film will be produced by veteran producer Bridget Johnson. Scripted by Lizzy Weiss, it has McG protege Anna Mastro attached to the feature film project. If Mastro is indeed signed to be the film's helmer, she would make her directorial debut with this film.

"Bumped" tells the story of about five twentysomethings completely different people who get stranded at Chicago's O'Hare Airport and became friends. The movie is said to be financed independently and it won't start shooting until the SAG strike is resolved.
