In the trailer, it can be seen how Kutcher's character connected to Michelle Pfeiffer's while coping with their pains and how their relationship moves to something more than friends.

From director/writer David Hollander came the story of Andrew Wakefield who lost his sister in a car accident and finds comfort from Linda who lost her husband.
