"Kill Bill" star Uma Thurman is set to star in family drama "Eloise in Paris". Variety reported that in the film adaptation of the children's novel series written by Kay Thompson, the 37-year-old Academy Award-nominated actress will be portraying Nanny, the governess of the titular character in the series, Eloise.

Scripted by Charles Shyer, Hallie Meyers-Shyer and Larry Spencer, the movie will be directed by Shyer. It will follow the journey of Eloise who goes to Paris for Fashion Week. Along the way she finds herself chasing after stolen dress with one of Europe's top designers.

The principal production is slated to begin in June in London, Paris and New York, while the producers are currently in search for the young actress to play the leading character. Further, though the first film hasn't been made yet, it was reported that HandMade Films have already started to develop the movie sequel entitled, "Eloise Goes to Hollywood".

Thurman has recently wrapped up the filming of romantic dramas, "My Zinc Bed" and "The Accidental Husband". Prior to this project, the ex-wife of actor Ethan Hawke has been starring in various movies, including "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" opposite Luke Wilson, "Prime" alongside Meryl Streep and Bryan Greenberg, and "Be Cool" with John Travolta.
