MTV Bosses Fighting For Lindsay Lohan's Appearance

MTV Australia and MTV Russia are still negotiating to have Lindsay Lohan appear in their respective Music Video Awards event.

Lindsay Lohan's music career is back on the market. While the news on her third album is still scarce, the actress turned singer is being fought over by MTV Russia and MTV Australia to appear in their respective Video Music Awards.

It has been a tradition for MTV to have different versions of awards event based on its country. The MTV bosses in Russia and Australia however, have the same idea of presenting Lohan in their own shows and have reportedly started a biding war.

The Australian MTV Video Music Awards is held in Sydney on April 27 and the Russian version is held one week after that. Sources said that Lohan won't appear at both and thus left the two networks to settle the money matter. "We're in negotiations with Lindsay's people but it's a money battle at the moment with MTV Russia," a rep from MTV Australia confirmed.

Lohan is working on her third studio album with 50 Cent and producer J.R. Rotem. This album, which would be her first album after her rehab stint last year, is planned to be released either mid or end of this year.
