Panic! At the Disco no longer relied a lot on their computers to generate the sound of their sophomore set. Instead, the new materials are geared toward live play.

Panic! At the Disco will soon follow up their multi-selling debut 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' with a second studio album which details have erupted. To Billboard.com the band revealed that their new materials are a departure from their last record meaning they will be more live show-oriented pieces.

On the basis that 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' relied a lot on technology, guitarist Ryan Ross explained, "We just wanted the record to sound like four people playing a song. A lot of the songs are definitely more geared toward playing live; we didn't think about that on the last record."

Music instruments used are also varied. "I played harmonica on a song and did some slide guitar, which we've never done before," Ross added.

Citing that they avoid working with "big rock producers", the band tapped producer Rob Mathes who has worked with them on the cover of 'This is Halloween', a soundtrack to Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D'. "(Rob) has a really positive attitude and keeps us motivated when we're sometimes not feeling it," Ross said.

The album is scheduled to hit the stores on March 25, 2008 via Decaydance/Fueled by Ramen. There is also a plan to tour in the same month but they have thrown away their signature "circus show" for a new idea which is still determined.
