Carrie Underwood Presents 'Carnival Ride' This October
Music

Carrie Underwood finds a deep meaning in the phrase 'Carnival Ride' and uses it as the title of her new album which is due October 23.

AceShowbiz -

Carrie Underwood has found a perfect title for her sophomore set, 'Carnival Ride'. The country singer finds the term having a great metaphor that is apt to describe her life in the past few years.

"You step onto this ride called life, and it's a crazy thing you don't know anything about, but you get on it anyway," Carrie explained. "You do what you can to lean different directions to try and get it to go where you want it to go, but you can't stop it - it just keeps moving. That's why Carnival Ride works as my album title, because it describes the wonderful craziness that I've been through over the past couple years."

The album will be dropped on October 23 with the first single 'So Small' has already pulled out in July to give early impact. A music video for this single was shot and directed by Roman White, and will be premiered in the coming weeks. This year, White earned Country Music Television Award's 'Video Director of the Year' through 'Before He Cheats'.
