Female dancers are welcomed to attend street and online audition held by Jennifer Lopez to search for a dancer in her new music video.

AceShowbiz -

Starting off as a dancer herself, Jennifer Lopez gets down to the business by calling a street audition for female dancers interested in making a cameo in her new music video. Lopez has been touring nationally since Thursday (August 23) and will visit 5 other cities in the coming weeks.

"I'm looking for somebody who's clean, who can pick up choreography but also has a stage presence," Lopez said. She herself sat at the judging panel at the first stop in New York but her entrusted man, choreographer Shane Sparks, will continue with the rest.

Those who have 'what its takes' are welcomed to attend the audition with the schedule listed below. Meanwhile, for those unable to make it to the casting calls in person can submit an audition video of themselves dancing, to Secret.com. One winner will be selected from each city while four will be picked from the video submissions.

The basic rule for the video contest is to submit a 30-second set that features only the contestant dancing and it must not be made longer that six months ago. The routine should be performed strictly behind the following songs: 'If You Had My Love', 'Play', 'Waiting For Tonight', 'Jenny From the Block', 'Get Right' and 'Do It Well'.

The latest submission is September 28 and on October 22 all the names of finalists will be announced. Online voting for dance videos on Becauseyourehot.com is then opened until November 2 with the ultimate winner will be crowned on November 12.

Audition schedule:

  • Dallas - Aug. 30 &31
  • Atlanta -- Sept. 6 & 7
  • Miami -- Sept. 7
  • Chicago -- Sept. 20
  • Las Vegas -- Sept. 28
