Chamillionaire Delaying Sophomore Set, Again
Music

Originally planning to release it in March, Chamillionaire now sets the date for September.

AceShowbiz -

Two change of date after, Chamillionaire plans to drop "Ultimate Victory" further back on September 18. The reason to these often delays is explained by the rapper as an attempt to put the best for the record.

"I've been hard at work, putting the final touches on 'Ultimate Victory' while my fans have remained patient and overwhelmingly supportive of me," Chamillionaire said in a statement. "Now that the new album is finally complete and the first official single is ready for release, I'm back on my mixtape grind."

The work has been taking place since last year and Chamillionaire thought it was ready to be released in March 2007. He eventually had to push it to June despite the news that it was finished on May 28.

To compromise the delay, the Houston native will release a mixtape titled "Mixtape Messiah 3" first on July 18. The mixtape will be accompanied by a DVD and available for free via download on his official site.

First single from "Ultimate Victory" is titled "Hip-Hop Police" featuring Slick Rick which will hit radio outlets later this month.
