Still enthusiastic in broadening its upcoming thriller slate, Universal Pictures in on the track to develop a flick of the kind entitled "Fiasco Heights" together with Platinum Dunes, Variety has learned.

Said to occur in a stylized "hyper-real" noir environment akin to that of "Sin City", the picture concerns a notorious hitman who teams with a failed private eye in search of a missing woman and an invaluable briefcase.

Name to direct is still in question for now, but it has been confirmed that the project will be developed based on script written by Kyle Ward. Platinum Dunes' exec Michael Bay is going to produce with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller while Chris Bender, JC Spink and Mason Novick are all executive producing.
