Columbia Pictures is intending to spark a comedy for David Spade and Chris Rock to star.

Setting up another comedy in its pit, Columbia has struck a deal to make an untitled flick of the genre as a starring vehicle for David Spade and Chris Rock, Variety has reported.

Written by Spade and Fred Wolf, the project depicts a turf battle between three families who vie for the same camping spot in a public park over a weekend. No word yet on the director, but it has been confirmed that Adam Sandler will produce via his Happy Madison Productions.

Spade has long been working together with Wolf since the latter still worked as the head writer on "SNL" where Spade was one of the cast members. As for Rock, the funnyman has just co-written, directed, and starred in "I Think I Love My Wife" for Fox Searchlight.
