Mia Hamm is having double. The soccer legend and husband, Los Angeles Dodger first baseman Nomar Garciaparra, are expecting twins.
Sad to say that the pregnancy has forced the beauty to turn down induction into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in February next year, claiming her doctor had advised her not to travel after January because she is due in early spring. Mia will instead accept the honor in 2008.
Mia and Garciaparra first met at a 1998 charity event and wed in Santa Barbara, Calif., in 2003. The twins will be the first for the couple.
