Comic actor Jack Black and the team from Channel101.com are working together with VH1 to executive produce "The Department of Acceptable Media".

It is a weekly comedy sketch show that will feature user-generated content as well as short films occasionally starring the actor himself.

"Department" will be co-executive-produced by longtime Black collaborators Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab. Each week, viewers will see new three-minute episodes of six proposed TV series and vote online for three of them to return with a new episode.

The three with the least votes will be canceled and replaced by three new pilots the following week. All shows, acceptable and unacceptable, will be shown on the Website. The best could eventually become VH1 series.
