Wisely making balance on the genre of the movie projects it is about to develop, Universal Pictures is set to make a romantic comedy entitled "Walk of Shame" from a pitch by Jessi Klein of which rights it has just secured, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

In bringing up the project to the surface, the company is collaborating with Stuber/Parent which will handle the movie's production matters. Meanwhile, the premise of the picture is said to revolve around a group of young singles living in New York.

For Klein, who is known more as a comedian and has appeared in several TV shows, "Shame" is the first writing work of her to make its way into the feature world. She recently scored a successful attempt to sell a comedy script to NBC through Regency TV with a penalty attached.
