Actor/writer/director Paul Feig will take double job as writer and director in Warner Bros.' action comedy "Smooth Operator."

AceShowbiz -

Coming to his next directorial stint after "Unaccompanied Minors", actor Paul Feig is set to helm "Smooth Operator", an action comedy feature of Warner Bros. Pictures production.

Also attached to pen the script, Feig reportedly plans to make the project with more physical comedy, something that he is not necessarily known for if looking on his work for TV show "Freaks and Geeks" or "Undeclared."

"I've always liked (physical comedy) and tried to insert it into the shows as much as I could; I'm not as high class as people think I am," so he remarked.

As for its premise, "Operator" will center on a CIA agent/debonair ladies man who has to train a computer nerd with less than stellar lady skills in order to make the guy able to seduce a female operative.

"It's like a high-tech version of 'Cyrano'," Feig commented, "or like a 'Hitch'-meets-'Rush Hour."'
