Eva Longoria told PEOPLE that the reports stating she and Beyonce Knowles are being approached to star as a lesbian couple in "Tipping the Velvet" are false.

AceShowbiz - Making a quick response to the wide publications saying she and Beyonce Knowles have both been offered to star in "Tipping the Velvet" as a lesbian couple, Eva Longoria has firmly stated that the reports are in fact are fabricated and completely untrue.
"Stop the madness," so she told PEOPLE exclusively. "Believe me, I would love to work with Beyonce one day. She's so talented. But this is definitely not something we are doing together. It's completely and absolutely not true."
Revealing that she has already asked her lawyers to track down the original source of the false reports, which so far has not yet been located, the "Desperate Housewives" star also responded to the quotes included in the reports that many believed were coming from her.
"�it's not true," she said. "And (there are) quotes of Beyonce saying it's about time we had a female Brokeback Mountain. And we're like, we never said that."
Supporting Longoria's remark, a spokesperson for Knowles also confirmed to PEOPLE that the reports are just a made-up story, stating that they "never heard of this film" and that the beauty's involvement in the project "is not happening."
