Focus Features has set Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo to star in "Reservation Road".

Wanna know how it feels to walk on "Reservation Road"? You can ask Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo as both have been booked by Focus Features to star in the Terry George's direction.
"Reservation Road", is a drama, an adaptation of the John Burnham Schwartz novel. The flick will be shot this fall with Schwartz wrote the screenplay, and George polished it.
As of Phoenix and Ruffalo, the fellow actors will play fathers on opposite sides of a hit-and-run: The Ruffalo character kills Phoenix's son and flees. As the grieving father seeks revenge, the tragedy wears on both men in unexpected ways.
