John C. Reilly has another comedic starring role in Columbia Pictures' "Walk Hard."

Roles keep coming heavily to John C. Reilly. Fresh from "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" while already being included in "Step Brothers", the actor delightfully has been billed to star in Columbia Pictures' new project of "Walk Hard" following the company's success in obtaining the film's rights, so Variety has reported.

As the movie's story tells about fictional music legend Dewey Cox, Reilly will likely to play the character, whose life becomes as messy as the protagonists in "Ray" and "Walk the Line." "My character is an amalgamation of a number of classic musician stories, tales of excess, highs and lows and bad behavior," he commented.

Script will be written by Judd Apatow and Jake Kasdan who both also are set to produce. Production begins early next year with Kasdan at helm.
