Universal Pictures has optioned the rights to the comic book "The Leading Man" from Oni Press.

Who's "The Leading Man"? It has yet confirmed by the Universal Pictures who will play the lead role, but it is obvious that the studio has acquired the rights to turn the comic book into big screen feature.
Acquired the rights from Oni Press, Universal has booked Marc Platt and Eric Gitter to produce the flick.
In case of the comic, written by Clay Moore and illustrated by Jeremy Haun, it follows the adventures of the world's biggest movie star, Nick Walter who uses his celebrity, access, lifestyle and his films' international location shoots as a cover for his real job, that of an international spy.
