AceShowbiz - It was a great loss for Hollywood entertainment industry. The TV mogul, Aaron Spelling, died Friday June 23rd, 2006 at his Los Angeles estate with wife Candy and son Randy at his side. He was 83.

Detailing on his death, Aaron's publicist Kevin Sasaki revealed the TV titan passed away at 6:25 p.m. The cause of death was complications from the stroke he had suffered June 18.

The question is where was daughter Tori Spelling? The actress, though didn't present, issued a statement saying she had made peace with her father days before the stroke, ending a months-long rift purportedly stemming from the portrayal of Spelling and his wife in Tori's semi-autobiographical VH1 comedy series, so noTORIous.

In her own release, Tori said, "I am grateful that I recently had the opportunity to reconcile with my father, and most grateful we had the chance to tell each other we loved one another before he passed away....I am honored to be Aaron Spelling's daughter. He had a heart that was as big as his talent. He was a great man and even better father."

Meanwhile, in a family statement issued Saturday Spelling's widow and son said their "extreme sadness and grief is comforted by the overwhelming number of heartfelt calls we have received. We are truly grateful for the outpouring of love and sympathy expressed by so many friends and colleagues who knew Aaron. Our family is truly appreciative of everyone's love and support.
