Ephron to Direct the New Juvenile Novel-Based

Nora Eprhon who wrote the script of "Bewitched" is turning to the director for "Flipped".

AceShowbiz - Bewitched's screenplay writer, Nora Ephron turns over to direct the adopted young-adult novel by Wendelin Van Draanen for the silver screen, "Flipped".

Flipped is produced for Kelly Gonda's East of Doheny, which produced "The Pink Pather" and "Ever After" with Tracy Trench.

Nora who has joined her sister, Delia, in making the script for "Bewitched", is now adapting the novel, also with her sister. Meanwhile, each of them is also involved in another movie plan: Nora is both directing and writing the big-screen adaptation for Julie Powell's "Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen" for Columbia Pictures.

On the other hand, Delia is working with Sony for another movies starring Reese Witherspoon, and still writing script for Avenue Picture, "Beautiful".

The Knopf-published "Flipped" tells the story of a boy and a girl's relationship, from the first crush until sharing the first kiss, not to forget, the issue of feeling the same thing. No further details have been revealed so far.
