Michael Bay will bring Jason back in the remake of "Friday the 13th"

AceShowbiz - The masked killer Jason Voorhees is on his way to come back as Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes are eyeing for a remake of "Friday the 13th" through collaboration with screenwriter Mark Wheaton and New Line Cinema. New Line itself previously has released the most recent installment featuring Voorhees entitled "Freddy vs. Jason" in 2003, putting him and Freddy Krueger from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series to slash against each other.
As for the release date, the insiders of the project informed that the producers have put high hopes to launch the movie exactly on Friday, October 13 this year, but the expectation seems pretty hard to meet since no director and cast are attached yet.
