Katrina turns the world around. The Hurricane has affected many aspects of people's life. Not only affects people in common and cause them to suffer, the storm also has caused the script for "Die Hard 4.0" has been hurriedly changed.
Not without reasons, but the change occurs because the film-packed storyline has a chilling resemblance to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana. As for "Die Hard 4.0," it originally featured massive tidal waves caused by a giant explosion swamping New Orleans.
Thus, that part is reworked to strike out all similarities to Katrina tragedy. As told by an insider, "Everyone cringed when they read that part of the script. It's a good script and no doubt that scene on the Mississippi would have been spectacular, but there is no way it can be used."
