R&B singer Usher has confirmed his in negotiation to star in the musical "Dreamgirls"

AceShowbiz - Five days ago, his mother Jonnetta Patton insisted that he not yet confirmed his going to star in the musical "Dreamgirls." Now the R&B star, Usher, has turned his way around, confirming he is in negotiation to star in the musical new movie version.
If the star would later get the deal, he is expected to play choreographer CC White alongside Jamie Foxx and Beyonce Knowles, to play Deena Jones, the leader of a trio of female soul singers who cross over to the pop charts during the early 1960s. Also set to play in the movie is Eddie Murphy, who will play James 'Thunder' Early, a fictional cross between James Brown and Marvin Gaye.
