Actress Halle Berry has willingly donated her gown to be auctioned during her former high school annual prom fashion show

AceShowbiz -

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has donated two of her designer gowns to her former high school, Bedford High, to be auctioned during its annual prom fashion show.

One of the dress Berry donated is a knee-length geometric print that she wore on an Ebony magazine cover last year. The other gown, to add, is a white Versace halter-style she wore to a party after the debut of "Lackawanna Blues," the HBO film she produced.

Bidding starts at $500 per dress and will be ended Thursday. The money raised from the auction will send Bedford High students on a field trip to the Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati.
